Wanda Eunice Myers, 91, of Granite City, IL died on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Stearns Nursing & Rehab Center in Granite City, IL.

She was born on December 24, 1932 in Laurel, MS to Will and Marie Clingon.

Wanda married James Edward Myers in Newport News, VA on September 8, 1950.  He preceded her in death on April 10, 2013.

The loving mother and grandmother was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Granite City, IL.  She enjoyed cake decorating, flower arranging and she learned to play the piano in her later years.

Wanda is survived by a daughter, Debra Yates of Licking, MO; 2 sons:  Byron (Lisa) Myers of Peoria, IL and James Paul (Barbara Ann) Myers of Granite City; 5 grandchildren:  Crystal Morgan, April Morgan, Josh Sartin, Michael Myers and Matthew Myers; several grandchildren,  several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, Wanda is preceded in death by grandson, Michael Morgan and several brothers and 2 sisters.

The family will hold a memorial service on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Granite City, IL.
