Virginia Fuentes, 91, of Collinsville, IL passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 25, 1935 in Mexico to Celso Fuentes and Guadalupe Solorzano.

Virginia married Jose Villa in Mexico.  He preceded her in death on June 1, 2024.

The loving mother and grandmother is survived by 2 daughters:  Petra Villa of Collinsville and Gabriela Villa of Mexico; 2 sons:  Luciano Villa of Collinsville and J. Cruz Villa of Collinsville; 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 2 sisters:  Isabel Villagomez of Mexico and Ma Asuncion Villagomez of Collinsville.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Fairmount City, IL.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
