Veselin V. Georgiev, 60, of Collinsville, IL, passed away at 7:21 p.m. Tues. Oct. 17, 2023 at his home while under hospice care.

He was born Jan. 22, 1963 in Sofia, Bulgaria to the late Vladimir & Jordanka (Angelova) Georgiev.

On July 27, 1987, he and Nadia Neykova were married in Sofia, Bulgaria.  She survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Veselin and Melanie Georgiev of Kansas City, KS and Vladimir Georgiev of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sat. Oct. 21, 2023 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory and the family will share some brief remarks and remembrances at 3:00 p.m.
