Tim Joseph Zarlingo, 64, of Granite City, IL died on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. louis, MO.

He was born on November 4, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL to Paul and Kathleen (Voegele) Zarlingo.

Tim married Peggy Hornbeak-Townley in Long beach, CA on May 6, 1984.

The loving husband and son was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Granite City, IL.  Tim enjoyed playing chess and tennis and he won trophies in both events.  He was also a past champion of the Madison County High School  Chess tournament.  Tim's greatest joy was working in the computer technology field.

Survivors include his wife, father, 3 brothers:  Thomas Zarlingo of Perryville, MO, Tony Zarlingo of Longmont, CO and Terry Zarlingo of St. Charles, MO and 2 sisters:  Connie Koenig of Granite City and Cathy (Steve) Marceau of Surprise, AZ.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother.

Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL at a later date.
