Steven Ellis Kuehnel, 65, of Caseville, IL passed away Monday, January 15, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

He was born to Rosalie (Boone) Berning and the late Everett E. Kuehnel on June 8, 1958 in St. Louis, MO. Steven loved to watch comedy shows and laugh. He was a good person and loved helping people.

Steven is survived by his mother Rosalie (Douglas) Berning, a brother; Joe Kuehnel and many loving nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father: Everett Kuehnel, 2 brothers: Daniel Kuehnel, Gene Kuehnel; a sister: Laurie Young and his best friend of 40 years Mike.

A visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Wojstrom Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:30am at Wojstrom Funeral Home. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
