Steve M. Bartos 86, of Collinsville passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026.  He was born January 13, 1940 in Chicago IL to Steve Marion and Rose (Zak) Bartos.

Steve lived for his motorcycles and rode with Freedom of Road Riders.

He is survived by former wife and lifelong companion, Christine Bartos; daughter, Janice Butler of South Carolina; brothers, Danny Bartos of CA, Thomas Bartos of CA and Robert Bartos of IL; grandson, Robert Cody and granddaughter in South Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Samantha Bartos and three sisters, Linda Bartos, Marilyn Gonia and Carol Bartos.
