Shirley Jean Pollard, 89, of Granite City passed away December 30, 2024 at Gateway Regional Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1935 in Granite City to Harrison and Elizabeth M. (nee: Case) Vincent.

She married Thomas Pollard July 18, 1957 in Madison, IL; he preceded her death September 5, 2014.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Judith) Pollard of Granite City and Tracy Stuart Pollard of Granite City; two daughters, Marjorie (Tim) Hedrick of Fenton, MO and Clarissa Pollard of Hillsboro, MO; 9 nine grandchildren;  3 great grandchild.

Along with her husband and parents she is preceded in death seven sisters, Marietta Dickerson, Viola Vincent, Thelma Turner, Bessie Koisher, Evelyn Childers Pearl Vincent and Emma Roberts and a brother, James Vincent.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City.  Private funeral services will be held for the family with burial at Jefferson Barracks.  Online guestbook available at www.wojstrom.com.
