Sandra R. Lane, 79, of Granite City, IL died on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Stearns Nursing & Rehab Center in Granite City, IL.

She was born on January 25, 1945 in Joplin, MO to Robert R. and Betty J. (Young) Grayson.

Sandra married Gordon Lane in Granite City, IL on November 9, 1963.

The loving wife and mother enjoyed crafting, doing cross stitching and making books for her children.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sharon (Alan) Hendrickson of Granite City; a son, Michael (Elizabeth) Lane of Glen Carbon; 5 grandchildren:  Lukas Rakey, Karlie Rakey, Michael P. Lane, Sydney Lane and Zachary Lane; a brother, Robert R. Grayson, Jr of Granite City and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by a sister in law, Elaine Grayson.
