Ronald Cotton, 71, of Granite City went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2024.  He was born April 28, 1952 in Chicago, IL.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Boyd of AL; sister, Shirley Cotton Demyes of Naperville; grandchildren, Kionna, Eboni and Ayanna Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Byrd; mother, Izora Cotton and his wife, Minnie (Boyd) Cotton.
