Roberta "Bobbi" K. Hicks, 88, of Pontoon Beach, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

She was born on December 22, 1936 in Colorado Springs, CO to Robert Lee Morrow and Lottie (White) Gifford.

Bobbi married Paul Junior Hicks in Alcorn County, MS on October 22, 1957 and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1967.

The loving mother and grandmother was a member of the Gold Star Wives.  She enjoyed crafting and was an adventurous world traveler.  Bobbi loved cats and she cared for abandoned cats.

Bobbi is survived by a son, Robert (Karen) Hicks of New Berlin, PA;  2 grandchildren Mariah K. Grovier and Dorian (Angelina) Smiley;  a great granddaughter, Coral Smiley and 2 sisters:  Susan Aerne of Granite City, IL and Laura Bagi of Granite City, IL.

Besides her husband and parents, Bobbi is preceded in death by a son, Paul Jay Hicks; a brother, Tommy Gifford and a sister, Lisa Gifford.

Bobbi will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband at a later date.
