Richard "Rick" Louis Sbabo, 72, of Granite City passed away at his home July 8, 2025.  He was born August 7, 1952 in Granite City to Louis Anthony and Dorothy Belle (Lowe) Sbabo.  He married Antoinette "Toni: Guida April 17, 1976 in Madison, IL.  Rick worked as a Senior Turbine Operator at Ameren Electric.  He also was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union in Madison for 25 years. He was an avid bowler.  Rick loved his recliner and enjoyed watching TV especially college football and basketball.

He is survived by his wife Toni Sbabo of Granite City, daughter, Erica (Matt) Harper of St. Jacob and two grandchildren, Mallory and Abigail Harper.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City followed by an inurnment of his ashes at Sunset Hills Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.  Online guestbook available at www.wojstrom.com  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Logan Williams GO Fund Me Account.
