Orlandius Williams, 72, of Granite City, IL passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at Four Fountains Nursing Center in Belleville, IL.

He was born on November 12, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to George and Frankie (nee:  Payne) Williams.

Orlandius married Evelyn Newsome in Edwardsville, IL on November 9, 2000.

The loving husband and father enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.  He also enjoyed junking.

Orlandius is survived by his wife; 3 daughters:  Claire Williams, Dessa Williams and Rachel Van Dyke; 5 sons:  Orlandius Lacey, Maurice Foster, Gordon Williams, Justin Newsome and Thomas Williams; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters:  Gladys and Rosland; 2 sister in laws:  Mayme (William) Cass and Joann Campbell; a brother in law, Elroy Newsome and many extended family members.

Besides his parents, Orlandius is preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda Lacey; 9 brothers:  George Williams, Ike Williams, Austin Williams, Elmer Williams, Leo Williams, June Williams, Willie Williams, Herman Williams and Harvey Williams and a sister, Eddie Mae.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on at Fraternal Order of Eagles on Madison Ave from 1-4 pm on September 27, 2026.
