Mary O. Pogue, 92, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at Madison County Hospital in Winterset, IA.  She was born August 28, 1930 in Waverly, TN to John and Pearl (nee: Baker) Willhite.  She was retired from St. Louis Midwest Art and Sunshine Art Studio.

She is survived by five daughters, Linda McFarland of Pontoon Beach, Susan Shoemaker of New Douglas, Cheryl Ann Blackwell of TN, Carol Sue Jenkins of IA and Vicky Lynn Borror of Greenville; three sons, John Samuel Brake of TN, Jesse Frank Brake of MO and Terry Wayne Brake of IL; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Pogue; two brothers, Howard and Billy Willhite and a sister, Geneva Mae "Polly" Cathey.

Visitation will be 4-7p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City where services will be held at 11:30 Tuesday.  Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.  Online guestbook available at www.wojstrom.com.
