Mary "Dolores" Foster, 93, of Worden, IL died on Monday, February 16, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 9, 1932 in Granite City, IL to Martin and Dolores (nee:  Galvan) Carrera.

Dolores married Ray Edward Foster in Arkansas.  He preceded her in death in 2003.

The loving mother and grandmother enjoyed line dancing and sewing.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Dolores is survived by a daughter, Kristie Foster of Granite City; 2 sons:  Ray, Jr (Christine) Foster of Worden and Jeffrey (Lisa) Foster of Hillsboro, MO; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren.  Also surviving are 2 brothers:  Louie Carrera of MO and Jesse Carrera of MO and 3 sisters:  Ramona Clark of Collinsville, Vickie Howard of MO, Joyce Ball of Dupo and Cathy Scholl of Colorado Springs, CO.

Besides her husband and parents, Dolores is preceded in death by 3 brothers:  Martin Carrera, Jr, David Carrera and Felix Carrera and 5 sisters:  Matilda Vasquez, Felicia Price, Mary Barron, Carmen Higarida and Marilyn Carrera.
