Mary Ann Martin, 78, of Granite City, IL died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her home.

She was born on January 14, 1945 in Granite City, IL to Bernice Jack Norton and Velma (Combs) Wilhite.

The loving mother and grandmother enjoyed shopping and doing yard work. She was always keeping herself busy.

Mary is survived by 3 daughters:  Kim Martin, Kristi Martin and Darla Martin all of Granite City; 2 sons:  Terry Martin of Killeen, TX and Jeff Martin of Granite City; 22 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Billy (Donna) Norton of Granite City and 2 sisters:  Beverly Carter of Granite City and Barbara Merchant of Granite City.  Also surviving are a brother in law, Chet Whyers; best friend, Leslie Brown and several nieces and nephews,

Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by a son, Greg Martin, Jr; a brother, Bobby Norton; 4 sisters:  Darlene Norton, Cheryl Williams, Carolyn Davis and Pat Whyers; former husband, Greg Marin, Sr and special friend, John Cox.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.
