Martha Grace Castellini, 86, of Madison, IL, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Tues. Sept. 10, 2024 at Evercare of Edwardsville in Edwardsville, IL.

She was born Oct. 28, 1937 in Peoria, IL to the late Frank Karl and Elsie Altman (Buchanan) Ensor.

On Oct. 19, 1973, she and Merton Eugene Castellini Jr. were married in Peoria.  He preceded her in death June 10, 2010.

Martha had been a receptionist until she became a mother.  She had been a member of the Granite City Women of the Moose.  She loved bingo and had also been a member of the Pottymouth C.B. club and her handle was "Hillbilly Gal".

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Merle "Butch" (Patti) Castellini of St. Louis, MO; 2 daughters: Angela Castellini of Madison, IL and Martha Grace Wood of MI; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a few great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Eddie Turner; a brother: Frank Ronald Ensor; and 2 sisters: Karlene Grubbs and Marian Dunning.

Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mon. Sept. 16, 2024 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.  Burial will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Merle Castellini.
