Mark Alan Simpson, 67, of Granite City, IL died on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his home.

He was born on February 11, 1957 in Granite City, IL to J.D. and Leona (Smith) Simpson.

Mark married Susan Prince in St. Louis, MO on September 24, 1975.

The loving husband and father was a U.S. Army veteran.

Besides his wife and mother, Mark is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Nathan) Stewart of Granite City; a son, Jason (Deana) Simpson of Granite City and 2 grandchildren:  Athena and Asteria.

Mark is preceded in death by his father and 3 brothers:  Joseph Simpson, Richard Simpson and Robert Simpson.
