Marilynn Jean Price, 90, of Highland, IL, formally of Granite City, IL,  passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.

She was born on July 24, 1934 in Jacksonville, IL to Hugh and Edna Mae (Newburn) Norfleet.

Marilynn married Evan "Wayne" Price in Alexander, IL on June 21, 1959.

Marilynn retired as a registered nurse from the SIUE Health Clinic in Edwardsville, IL.  She also worked for Dr. G.H. Wichterman in New Berlin, IL and at the TB clinic in Edwardsville as a travelling nurse.  Marilynn was a charter member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Granite City.  She was a member and had been the Past Worthy Matron of the New Hope Chapter of the Order of  Eastern Star 432 in Granite City.

Marilynn is survived by her husband; a daughter, Peggy Price of Highland, IL;  a brother, Richard Norfleet of Glen Carbon, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Marilynn is preceded in death by a son, Jay Evan Price and her step mother, Isabel (Cully) Norfleet.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.  Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glen-Ed Pantry in Edwardsville, IL.
