Lorraine Walters, 72, of Granite City, IL, died at 1:59 p.m. Sat. Mar. 15, 2025 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

She was born Apr. 10, 1952 in St. Louis, MO to the late Benny and Reba Forsyth.

On June 14, 1980, she and David Walters were married in Granite City.  He survives.

Lorraine had been a fabric store manager and later worked in service for Weissman Design for Dance.  She loved to sew and have lunches with her ladies.  She also loved animals and doting on her fur babies: Teddy Bear and Jack.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 half-sisters: Laverne and Laura; as well as many extended family and friends.
