In loving memory of Leroy Earl Tidwell, January 13, 1947 to October 4, 2026.

Leroy Earl Tidwell, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories.

Leroy proudly served his country in the United States Army, including service in Vietnam. He served honorably and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with two Campaign Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter Badge, and two Overseas Service Bars. His service was a meaningful part of his life and reflected his courage, dedication, and willingness to serve others.

After his discharge, Leroy worked in the computing and technology industry for many years. His passions included particpating in demolition derbies, building meat smokers and enjoying BBQ from the smokers he helped build and hanging out with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Karree Ann Tidwell (Jarod Patten) and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Dunn (Bobby Dunn), who lovingly cared for him and stood by his side throughout the last several years of his life. Her devotion, compassion, and love meant so much to Leroy and our family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Euther and Geneva Wallace Tidwell; his brother, Robert Tidwell, Sr; his sister, Becky Tidwell Monan; and his son Blake Tidwell.

Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day—unseen, unheard
