Kim Marie Emmerich, 68, of Shiloh, IL passed away in her home on Sunday, December 31, 2023.

She was born to the late Barney and Mary (Wielgus) Donahue on October 24, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL. Kim met Patrick Emmerich, and they were married in Belleville on November 1, 1974. She loved to paint and draw in her free time. Kim was very involved in her church. She attended Apostolic Church of Belleville where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Her family described as a strong and persistent person.

Kim is survived by her husband of 49 years, Patrick Emmerich, a daughter: Holly (Kevin) Underwood; 3 sons: Kevin Emmerich, Matthew James Emmerich, Kyle (Kayla) Emmerich; 3 granchildren: Colton Emmerich, Elijah Emmerich Logan Emmrich; a sister: Pam Donahue; and 2 brothers: Timothy Donahue and Barney Donahue, Jr.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Apostolic Church of Belleville, 1648 La Salle Street, Belleville, IL.
