Joyce R. Biggs, 87, of Granite City, IL died on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL.

She was born on January 13, 1938 in Kennett, MO to Fred and Lola (nee:  Bennett) Biggs.

The loving mother and grandmother retired from St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis as supervisor of housekeeping after 30 years of service.

Joyce is survived by 2 daughters:  Melinda (Robert) Gerber of Granite City and Darla Lewis of Granite City; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Keith Biggs of FL and a sister, Joanne Barfield of NV.

Besides her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda May Lewis; 2 sons:  Curtis Ray Lewis and Calvin Curt Lewis; 3 brothers:  A.D. "Hoppie" Biggs, J.B. Biggs and Freddie Biggs and a sister, Debbie Marlow.

A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.
