Jon Paul Kohn, 50, of Madison, IL passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at his home.

He was born on February 4, 1976 in Wood River, IL to Harry Kohn and Elaine (nee:  Hasecuster) Wallis.

Jon married Elizabeth Swaringim in Granite City, IL on April 20, 2017.

The loving husband, father and grandfather was a self-employed mechanic.  He enjoyed BMX bike riding and music, especially Metallica. Jon loved cars and Hot Wheels. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Besides his wife and mother, Jon is survived by a daughter, Wynonna Greene of Ogden, UT; 3 sons:  Harry (Brittany Steinfeld) Davis-Kohn of Hillsboro, MO, Dakotah Davis-Kohn of Hillsboro, MO and David Davis-Kohn of Hillsboro, MO; 4 grandchildren:  Reielyn Greene, Deklin Greene, Timmy Davis-Kohn and Ezekiel Davis-Kohn; a brother, James Baine of Madison, IL; a sister, Joyce (Steven) Gutches of Bismark, MO; an uncle, Randy Kohn and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jon is preceded in death by his father.
