John E. Grant, 60, of Dupo, IL died on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Cedar Ridge Health Center in Lebanon, IL.

He was born on May 2, 1964 in Granite City, IL to the late Harry Grant and Delores (May) Owen.

John married Cynthia Murray in Granite City, IL on August 1, 1984 and she preceded him in death on October 28, 2021.

The loving son, father and grandfather is survived by his mother; 2 daughters:  Sarah (Gary) Craig of Columbia, IL and Stacy Grant of Cahokia, IL; a son, Shaun (Nicole) Grant of East Carondolet, IL; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy (Theresa) Owen of Shiloh, IL and 2 sisters:  Anita Grant of Granite City, IL and Beth Casey of Red Bud, IL.

Besides his wife, John is preceded in death by his father and step father, James Owen.
