Janet Lee Stoppkotte, 70, of Granite City, IL passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Granite City Nursing and Rehab surrounded by her family while listening to Elvis.

She was born to the late George and Elizabeth (Hunter) Stoppkotte on October 3, 1952 In Granite City, IL. Her Parents owned Stoppkotte's Skating Rink where she was a competitive roller-skater. She also enjoyed photography, playing the organ and after meeting her fiancé, David Miller, she received her amateur Ham Radio license. Janet attended SIUE where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Janet is survived by a brother: Robert (Lorrie) Stoppkotte; a sister: Sandy Stoppkotte, her fiancé David Miller, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, IL
