James Leslie Worley, 84, of Pocahontas, IL passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at Granite City Nursing and Rehab in Granite City, IL

He was born to the late Gorman (IG) and Elizabeth (Ward) Worley on December 7, 1938 in Poplar Bluff, MO. James married Laura Christopher on March 19, 1997 in Madison County, IL. In his free time, James loved to camp.

James Is survived by his wife, Laura Worley; 2 grandchildren: Zachary Payne and Jamie Payne; a nephew; Mickey Worley; and 2 sisters in law: Paula (Gary) Grzywacz and Pricilla O'Bryan.

Besides his parents, James is preceded in death by 3 brothers: George Worley, Don Worley and Myron Worley and 2 sisters: Barbara Jean, and Getta Sue Dodd.
