Jackie David Copeland, 58, of Granite City, IL died on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.

He was born on December 20, 1966 in Granite City, IL to Melvin and Barbara (nee:  Hawk) Copeland.

The loving father and grandfather was a member of AMVETS post 51. Jackie attended Emmaus Lutheran Church in Dorsey, IL.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting Indian artifacts.  He enjoyed watching sporting events that his children were in. His greatest joy was being involved with his children and grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by a daughter, Melanie Copeland of Granite City; 4 sons:  Charles (Angela) Copeland of Bethalto, Jackie Copeland, Jr of Granite City, Jayme Copeland of Alton and Jakob Copeland of Dorsey; 5 grandchildren:  Kaylee, Mikey, Charliegh, Maverick and Maysen and a brother, Steven Copeland of Granite City.

Besides his parents, Jackie is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Copeland.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.
