Helen Ann Sudek, 72, of Granite City, IL, died at 12:30 p.m. Tues. Mar. 14, 2023 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born Feb. 1, 1951 in Granite City to the late Anthony & Caroline "Peggy" (Moizer) Doneff.

On July 31, 1976, she and Anthony "Tony" Joseph Sudek were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madison, IL

Helen had worked at Grandpa's and Lowe's as a clerk for many years.  She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and loved to be outdoors camping and fishing with her husband.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a sister: Dorothy Doneff Tharp; and 2 brothers: Anthony and Joseph Doneff.

A Memorial Mass will be held March 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2606 Washington Ave, Granite City, IL 62040.
