Douglas Dorsey Brown

Douglas Dorsey Brown, 67, of Staunton, IL passed away at 8:50 a.m. Wed. Nov. 4, 2026 at his home with his family at his side.

He was born Sept. 15, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to the late Nicholas and Amanda (Thomason) Brown.

Doug had worked in the automotive industry as a service advisor and could fix just about anything. He loved to fish and work on cars and especially loved time with his grandkids and dogs, Casper and Sissy.

On June 24, 2023, Doug and Randi Courtney were married in Benld, IL.

Doug is survived by his wife, Randi, 2 daughters, Rachel Brown of St. Ann, MO and Emily Brown of St. Charles, MO, a step-son, Michael (Terri) Courtney of Gillespie, IL, 8 grandchildren, Camren, Daylen, Kaden, Kashten, Karmella, Rylan, Asher and Skylyn, 3 step-grandchildren, Harper, Orion and Maya,1 great-grandchild, Camiyah and a sister, Betsey Jane Prime of WA.
