Donna Hopkins, 71, of Granite City, IL died on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Stearns Nursing & Rehab in Granite City, IL.

She was born on July 2, 1952 in East St. Louis, IL to Daniel Rushing and Margarette (Whitehair) Greene.

The loving mother and grandmother enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.

Donna is survived by a son, Joshua William of Henderson, IL; 5 grandchildren:  Shelby Hippler, Sydney Ott, Clayton Hopkins, Zoey Hopkins and Zolin Hopkins; 2 brothers:  Patrick Greene and David Rushing and 4 sisters:  Gloria Peacock, Joann Rushing, Joyce Chapman and Peggy Smith.

Besides her parents, Donna is preceded in death by a son, Chad Hopkins; 3 brothers: Danny Rushing, Dennis Greene and Douglas Greene and a sister, Barbara Simpson.

A celebration of life will be planned in May.
