Dolores Pruitt, 81, of Caseyville, IL died on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born on February 22, 1942 in St. Louis, Mo to August and Anna (Gasper) Burle.

She married David J. Pruitt in Manila, AR on March 3, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 2014.

The loving mother and grandmother attended Corner Stone Christian Church in Pontoon Beach, IL.

Dolores is survived by 2 daughters:  Laura Pruitt of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Carrie  Milster of Collinsville, IL; 4 sons:  David (Cindy) Pruitt of Collinsville, IL, Jeff (Sherrie) Pruitt of Fairmont City, IL, Ron (Melissa) Pruitt of Fairmont City, IL and Chris (Lauren) Pruitt of Edwardsville, IL; 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are 2 brothers:  Jerome "Jerry" (Sandy) Burle of St. Louis, MO and Raymond Burle of St. Louis, MO and 4 sisters:  Mary Ann Gaal of St. Louis, MO, Roberta Kattar of MO,,Ruth Murphy of Jacksonville, FL and Dorothy (Carl) Fahrenkamp of St. Louis, MO.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, parents; a daughter, Margaret Hittle and a sister, Margaret Burle.

Professional services entrusted to the care of Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL.

Burial will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
