Diane V. Stroke, 82, of Granite City, IL passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026 at La Bella of Edwardsville Nursing Center in Edwardsville, IL.

She was born on August 2, 1944 in Granite City, IL to Fred and Christine (nee:  Ferguson) Ray.

Diane married Victor Stroke and he preceded her in death in 2021.

The loving sister and aunt was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle in Granite City.  She enjoyed going to church and was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.  Diane also enjoyed sitting on her front porch drinking tea and walking to Wilson Park.

Diane is survived by a niece, Lisa (Jim) Cochran of Granite City; a  special nephew, Keith Ray of NC; a great niece, Olivia (Nate) Beyer of Granite City; a granddaughter, Morgan Ray; 2 brothers:  Charles Ray of Edwardsville and Randy Ray of NC and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, Diane is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Ray and 2 sisters:  Bobbie Crippen and Rita DeLong.
