Diana Lynn Simmerman, 68, passed away in Granite City, IL on Friday, December 15, 2023.

She was born on November 14, 1955 in Frankfort, Germany to Junior L. and Gladys Marie (Lyerla) Jones.

Diana married Billy D. Simmerman in Granite City, IL in 1976.  He preceded her in death in 2022.

The loving mother and grandmother enjoyed fishing and camping with her sister Linda.

Diana is survived by a daughter, Osia Wallace of Carrier Mills, IL; 5 grandchildren:  Alyssa, Caleb, Rebecca, Ozzie and Odessa; a great grandchild, Mazikeen and 2 sisters:  Linda Whitford of Granite City and Sandra Sullivan of Jonesboro, IL.

Besides her husband and parents, Diana is preceded in death by a son, William Simmerman and a brother, James Jones.
