David E. Stacey, 74, of Granite City, IL passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 in St. Louis, MO.

He was born to the late William S. and Opal M. Stacey on April 5, 1949 in Kennett, Mo. He met Brenda Joyce Benson and they were married in Tulsa, OK September of 1984. David served in the US Army and was an over the road trucker. He enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter: Cheryl Ann Davis; 2 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Sally Noah, Marie "Net" Scott, Connie Mitchell; a brother Roger Stacey; a sister -in-law: Starlit Stacey; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and wife, David is preceded in death by 4 brothers: Sonny Stacey, Ronnie Stacey, Jerry Stacey and Seldon Stacey.
