Cathy J. Copper, 69, of Granite City passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born to the late Anthony and Mary (Lucido) Greco on June 30, 1953 in Woodriver, IL. Cathy met Eugene Copper in 1970 and they were married on December 14, 1973 in Granite City, IL. Cathy was part of the Mitchel Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and she enjoyed camping with her husband, playing games and spending time with her grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her husband Eugene Copper, a son: Tony (Kira) Copper; 5 grandchildren: Kayla Ridenour, Kile Ridenour, Grayson Copper, Luca Copper and Cade Copper; a brother: Thomas (Debbie) Greco; and 2 sisters: Terry (Tim) Loyet and Patty (John) Mooreand many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her daughter Christy Ferguson.
