Carolyn "Sue" Dortch, 65, of Granite City, IL passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Mo.

She was born on June 30, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to John and Virginia (Moore) DuBoise.

The loving mother, daughter and grandmother enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and memorabilia collector.

Besides her mother, Sue is survived by a daughter, Jessica Bauer of Granite City; 2 sons:  James (Ginger) Dortch of Swansea, IL and Kenneth Dortch of Granite City; 6 grandchildren:  Taylor, MaKayla, Jesalin, Chloe, Logan and Conner; 5 great grandchildren:  Everleigh, Vivian, Hadley, Elias and Archie and a brother, Johnnie Ray DuBoise of Granite City.

Sue is preceded in death by her father and 2 brothers:  Wayne DuBoise and Curtis Joe DuBoise.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Mt Zion Church, 2827 Mockingbird Lane in Granite City, IL.
