Calvin B. Hardwick, 53, of Carlinville, IL died on Monday, December 26, 2022 at his home.

He was born on June 30, 1969 in White Hall, IL to Paul and Shirley (Kitsmiler) Hardwick.

Calvin enjoyed playing pool, darts and video games.  He also enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

The loving father is survived by a daughter, Kaylin Hardwick of Carlinville; 2 sons:  Jonathon (Jennifer) Hardwick of Granite City and Brandon Weatherford of Carlinville and 6 grandchildren:  Sheryllynn Mann, Calvin Mann, Edith Nelson, Evelynn Nelson, Joel Hernandez and Jurnee Hardwick.  Also surviving are 7 brothers:  Steve (Kathy) Hardwick of Roodhouse, Tim Hardwick of Jacksonville, Tony Hardwick of Greenfield, Danny (Renee) Hardwick of Greenfield, Chris Hardwick of Jacksonville, Jeff (Chantelle) Hardwick of Roodhouse and Roger (April) Hardwick of Jacksonville;  a sister, Vicki (Jim) Reno of KY and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Calvin is preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Mike Hardwick and Jody Hardwick and his former wife, Sheryl Lynn Carlyle Hardwick.
