Bryan "Red" Scott James, 57, of Granite City, IL died on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Caseyville Nursing & Rehab Center in Caseyville, IL.

He was born on July 30, 1967 in Granite City, IL to Cecil and Velma (Newton) James.

The loving father and grandfather loved Rock n Roll.  Before his declining health, Red enjoyed going on float trips and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bryan is survived by a daughter, Brittany (Chris) Kilmer of Granite City; 2 grandchildren:  August Kilmer and Scott Kilmer and a sister, Patsy (Howard) Black of Granite City.

Besides his parents, Bryan is preceded in death by a brother, Larry James.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Eagles on Madison Ave in Granite City.
