Billie Jean Griffin, 60, of Wood River, IL died on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO.

She was born on November 28, 1964 in East St. Louis, IL to Ralph and Juanita (Seidler) Griffin.

The loving mother and grandmother enjoyed listening to music, especially the band Poison and Bret Michaels.  She also enjoyed shopping, watching movies and all things Unicorn.

Billie is survived by a daughter, Amber Varble of Glen Carbon, IL; 2 grandchildren:  Ariel and Sage; 4 brothers:  William (Marlene) Griffin of Cahokia, IL, Kenneth Griffin of Cahokia, IL, Johnnie Griffin of Wood River, IL and Ronnie (Linda) Griffin of Maryville, IL; 2 sisters:  DeeDee (Buddy) Carol of Milstadt, IL and Patricia (Spencer) Delin of Glen Carbon, IL and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Besides her parents, Billie is preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Russell.
