Life Legacy
Charlotte Ann Haney 64 went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 22, 2012 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born October 14, 1947 in Cairo, IL to Jesse and Dora (nee Watson) Lipe. She married Robert Haney on July 31, 1965 at State Park Assembly of God, State Park, IL. She was a member of Calvary Life Church in Granite City where she played the piano. Charlotte was an excellent seamstress and cake decorator.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Haney of Granite City; both parents, Jesse and Dora (Watson) Lipe of South Roxana, two daughters and two sons in law, Darla and Tony Thomas of Pleasant plains, Arkansas and Dana and Demetrius Townes of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son and daughter in law, Jeffrey and Victoria Haney of Granite City; seven grandchildren; two brothers and a sister in law, Chuck Lipe of Olive Branch, IL and Rick and Kim Lipe of St. Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death her daughter, Dina Lynn Haney, two twin sisters Loretta Irene and Aretta Jean Lipe.
