Biography
Cindy L. Gaines, 51, died Wednesday, 6:11 PM, June 23, 2010 at Gateway Regional Medical Center Granite City, IL.
She was born February 18, 1959 in Granite City, IL to the late Harold E. “Gene” and Evalou (Deadman) Hunt.
She married Thomas Daniel “Dan” Gaines July 13, 1984 in Granite City, IL.
Mrs. Gaines had worked at Gateway Regional Medical Center in housekeeping for two years and prior to that at Capri Sun for sixteen years before illness caused her to take early retirement.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters: Jamie Bellew of Rector, AR and Stephanie Gaines of Vandalia, IL; two sons: Daniel Gaines of Granite City, IL and Jason Gaines of Vandalia, IL; five sisters: Judy Wright, Ricki Kolb, Sherry Malloy, Connie Spiker and Sandy Minder.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Randy Hunt.
Per her wishes she will be cremated. Arrangements are being handled by Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory Granite City, IL.
