Biography

Tina Marie Scarsdale, 47, of Granite City, died at 9:26 a.m. Wed. June 23, 2010 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.

She was born Feb. 28, 1963 in Granite City to the late George Sedabres Sr. & Alma (Thompson) Sedabres Becerra of Granite City.

She and Frank Scarsdale were married June 13, 1981 in Granite City. He survives in Granite City.

Tina worked at the Elks Lodge and played softball on the Jacobsmeyer Team.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda & Christopher Caruso of Bloomington, IN, 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis & Debbie Sedabres, Steven & Becky Sedabres and Christopher & Tanja Sedabres, all of Granite City, step-father, Augistine Becerra of Granite City, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary & Harvey Scarsdale of Granite City and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, George Sedabres Jr. and Jerry Sedabres.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sun. 6/27 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory, where services will be Mon. at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family.
