Biography

Timothy “Tim” Christopher Carroll, 63, of Troy, IL died at 7:48 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2010 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

He was born March 4, 1947 in Great Bend, KS.

Tim married Sharlyn June Trout at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbia, IL on June 20, 1985. She survives in Troy.

The U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran worked in aviation electronics following the military, working for Cessna Lear Jet out of Wichita, KS and was later employed as a private duty licensed practical nurse. He was a member of the Wichita, KS and Cahokia Moose Lodges.

In addition to his wife of 25 years, he is survived by: 2 daughters, Deyona & Randy Storey Jr. of Troy, IL, Rachael Trout of, MO, 2 sons, Erick & Susan Boyer of Carlyle, IL and Paul Weir, 9 grandchildren, Jerad, Aaron, Jacob, Breanna, Rylee, Kara, Lukas, Nathan & Elijah, a sister, Joan & Rene Tillich of Honolulu, HI, a brother, Dane Carroll of Grove, OK and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard & Lisa Garcia of Dupo, IL.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Elmer & Imo (Templeton) Columbia Jr. and a brother, Rex Carroll

Visitation will be Thurs. 3/11/10 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory, where services will be Fri. 3/12/10 at Noon with Pastor Mark Goldman officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
