Life Legacy
Andrew John Knez, 79, died at 8:08 a.m. Thurs. March 4, 2010 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born August 11, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to the late Andrew & Pauline (Crinech) Knez.
The US Air Force veteran served from 1947 to 1951 and was part of the Occupation Force in Japan. He was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union.
Andy was a truck driver, and belonged to the Teamsters Local #50.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Visitation will be Wed. 3/10/10 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory where services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thurs. with Fr. Larry Brunette officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
