Marianne Waltraut Wuerfel-Nunley, 63 of Belleville, IL, died at 7:50 a.m. Thurs. Jan. 14, 2010 at Belleville Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
She was born June 12, 1946 in Nordsteimke, Germany to the late Gustav & Hedwig Helene (Koss) Wuerfel.
Marianne loved crocheting, art and painting and retired from the Children’s Center for Behavioral Development in Edgemont, IL as an Art Therapist after 20+ years of service.
Survivors include: her longtime companion, Gerald Nelson of Belleville, IL, a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle & Patrick Mayden of Alton, a son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell & Elizabeth Westman of Ft. Meyers, FL, 4 grandchildren, Jacob & Madisen Mayden and Christian & Isabella Westman, a sister, Charlotte Beckwell and a brother, Walter Wuerfel.
